Harrah's Entertainment is attempting to sell the
Rio All-Suite Hotel & Casino in Las Vegas, according to a report from Bloomberg.
The report says the value of the off-Strip property is around $500 million.
The news of the potential sale comes two months after Harrah's acquisition of
Planet Hollywood Resort & Casino was approved by Nevada regulators.
The Rio is the only Las Vegas casino that Harrah's owns which is not on the Strip. Harrah's owns Bally's, Bill's Gamblin' Hall & Saloon, Flamingo, Imperial Palace and Paris.
The Rio is the host of the World Series of Poker, which is also owned by Harrah's.
